Directions of modern regional policy in Russia

This article discusses the main directions of regional policy in the modern world. Here are the main characteristics of regional policy. The directions of regional policy are also analyzed. Structural elements are presented, thanks to which the fundamental functions are performed. Directions of state programs are excluded and analyzed. Measures of restraint taken during the period of crisis situations in poor and depressed areas are revealed.
