Directions for strategic development of industrial enterprises in the region

Currently, Russia's economic potential largely depends on the degree of development of industry, which, in turn, is determined by the success of the development and implementation of a strategy for the development of its enterprises. Based on the work of scientists, the article considers the concepts of "strategy," "strategic management," "enterprise development strategy," "enterprise potential." Methods of development and evaluation of the enterprise development strategy are considered. The example of the cable industry of the Smolensk region shows the development of strategic development directions for enterprises. The financial condition and development strategies of cable industry enterprises were analyzed and evaluated. Key directions of strategic changes for the enterprises under consideration are highlighted.
