Drug security as an integral component of the national security of a contemporary Russian society: social and philosophical concept

The article considers the phenomenon of drug security of the society in the system of integrated security. The authors' attention is drawn to the importance of drug security to provide conditions for the existence of contemporary society. In determining the definition of drug security different philosophical, political and legal approaches to the description of categories of security and drug security are analyzed. A special place in the article is given to the description of factors undermining the security of the society as a consequence of the illegal drugs and psychotropic substances distribution; the authors' definition of "drug security" is given.
