Drug liberalism as a dangerous trend in the sphere of drug control

The article considers issues related to drug liberalism in Russia and around the world. The concepts of «legalization» and «liberalization» of drugs are analyzed. The author notes that the concept of «drug liberalism» is absent in the current Russian legislation, so the author’s definition of the concept under consideration is proposed.On the basis of an analysis of sources of information, scientific literature and legislation, the goals of the drug-liberal organizations were summarized and formulated, and the thesis about drug liberalization as a dangerous tendency was substantiated.
