A popular representation in Ingushetia

The article discusses the features of a popular representation in the Republic of Ingushetia. As says the author of the article, the development of the institution of popular representation has rooted in ancient times. Historically, Ingush people had been resolved all key public issues at the General Council. It had consisted greatest wise and fair representatives of teips and genders. Decisions were taken collectively and they were binding for all members of the society. The General Council had the function of justice. The institution of popular representation of Ingushetia has tracked back centuries and it had been the fundamental form of justice until the 40s of the twelve century before the Ingush people deported to Kazakhstan. In the Republic of Ingushetia, at this time, the standing supreme representative and the only legislative authority is the Peoples Assembly.
