The article is devoted to folk funeral prayers. All the texts are fixed by the authors in the northern part of the Komi-Permyak district. The composition of folk prayers is based on an open (incomplete) recital row. The majority of the characters in the texts can be divided into 5 groups: 1) characters of the Christian origin; 2) local founders of settlements known in folklore; 3) characters with names containing the semantics of «opening - closing»; 4) dead relatives («ancestors»); 5) people who unnaturally died ("zalozhnye"). The situation of cultural contacts between Russian and Komi-Permyaks is reflected in the texts of folk funeral prayers.
