Violation of the rules of operation of electrical networks as the main factor in the occurrence of fire

The article presents an analysis of violations of the operation of electrical networks as the main factor in the occurrence of fires. The analysis of official data presented in the statistical collection "Fires and fire Safety" in 2021 is carried out, the causes of fires and especially short circuits are given. Two main types of emergency modes of operation in electrical networks are analyzed, which can lead to a short circuit, as well as cause a fire independently: overload of the electrical network and the occurrence of a large transient resistance. In conclusion, based on official statistical data, it is concluded that there will be more and more fires that have arisen for this reason, and therefore it is necessary to introduce bills that tighten responsibility for violating the rules of operation and maintenance of electrical installations.
