Violations of Russian phraseological norms in contemporary texts of mass communication

The article is devoted to the analysis of errors which occur as a result of phraseological norm violation in Russian mass communication texts. On the data of contemporary Russian press and Internet publications the author studies formal, semantic and formal-semantic phraseological deviations in the Russian language and determines the reasons for orthologous fluctuations in Russian phraseology. The quantitative analysis reveals that the first type of phraseological errors dominates. The results obtained allow to assume that the transformation of the signified of the phraseological unit is made unconsciously and, thus, it is not controlled by language speakers.
