В первой части обзора приведены современные систематизированные доказательные данные о распространённости многообразных нарушений сна (МКБ-10) в рамках психических расстройств и / или суицидального поведения (СП), показаны механизмы сложных взаимосвязей расстройств сна (прежде всего, бессонницы и ночных кошмаров) и суицидогенеза. Указаны пути дальнейших междисциплинарных комплексных (биопсихо-социальных) исследований для улучшения контроля риска СП в русле целевых лечебно-профилактических индивидуализированных мероприятий.
