The paper introduces into scientific discourse materials from an Early Iron Age cemetery of the «Anapa» experimental farm. The site is located in the vicinities of an Ancient Greek center of Gorgippia before it joined the Bosporan Kingdom, it had been known as the Sindian Harbor. The chronology of the funerary offerings suggests that this indigenous necropolis was one of the earliest in the region, it dates the early contacts with the Greek population to the end of 7th - early 6th centuries BC. Comparative analysis of the funerary assemblages from the cemetery and those from the Rassvet farmstead located two kilometers east of the cemetery helped to link them to a single group of the local Sindian population. The abandonment of the «Anapa» farm cemetery was probably caused by retreat of the indigenous population to the east due to Greek trade and economic activity in the region.
