The late Sarmatian population of South Ural (on the anthropological data)

The article represents the comparison of the craniological data of the Late Sarmatian population of Southern Urals and Western Kazakhstan with the nomadic groups of the Aral Sea region and Southern Kazakhstan (EIA). The results suggest the proximity of the of the Late Sarmatian population to the population of the Ustyurt Plateau and their possible links with the sedentary groups of Southern Kazakhstan. The results contribute to our understanding of the nature of seasonal migrations of the people and interactions between the groups.
