Justification: adhesive capsulitis [AC] is a common disease of the shoulder joint. The main symptom of AC is stiffness, which limits the ability of patients to work and prevents them from practicing physical therapy.Purpose: the aim of this work is to improve the results of the treatment of stiffness in AC of the shoulder joint by including hydrodilatation redressation in the treatment complex. Methods: The study was conducted for 9 months. Hydrodilatation redressation was performed in 45 patients with stiffness on the background of AC of the shoulder joint. The patients were examined twice. A primary examination was carried out just before hydrodilatation redressation. Secondary examination was performed 1 month after hydrodilatation redressation. The examination included a clinical examination by an orthopedist and completion of the SST, SSI - ASES, and UCLA poll scales. Results: All patients noted an increase in the volume of movements in the shoulder joint, a decrease in the intensity of pain syndrome and an increase in tolerance to physical activity. No complications or adverse events were observed during the study. Conclusion: hydrodilatation redressation is an effective method for the treatment of AK stiffness in the shoulder joint. Ease of implementation, minimally invasive, low risks and high effi cy allow us to recommend hydrodilatation redressation as the primary method in the treatment of patients with stiffness in shoulder joint AC in short-term hospital settings.
