This article presents a philosophical and economic analysis of Karl Marx’s Capital, a work that retains its relevance in the context of today’s global and digital economy. The author explores the dual nature of Capital as both a theoretical and metaphysical treatise, where economic categories (commodity, value, capital, money) are treated as forms of social being and alienation. Special attention is given to Marx’s methodology – the dialectical method, borrowed from Hegel and transformed into a materialist logic of historical relations. The article shows how contemporary capitalism – in its digital, biopolitical, and platform-based manifestations – preserves the logic described by Marx: the logic of surplus value, the commodification of labor, and the generalization of market relations. In conclusion, the article highlights Capital as a philosophy of form, one that resists the automatism of thought and reveals the hidden logic of contemporary alienated reality.
