The article presents the heritage of G.V. Kolosnitsyna, a scientist and teacher who devoted her life to the creation of new educational technologies in the field of teaching Russian as a foreign language. It analyzes her scientific works and examines in detail the rhythmic-dynamic teaching method she created. At the basis of this method lies the postulate of psycho-physiologists P.K. Anokhin and N.A. Bernstein about the relationship between human physiological systems and the rhythmic activity of the environment. It is proved that the use of this phenomenon allowed G.V. Kolosnitsyna to become an innovator in the use of Russian opera art in the process of teaching foreigners the Russian language.
