Inheritance of copyrights

The article is devoted to the study of copyright in the context of its inheritance, including the question of which rights are inherited. Despite extensive discussions, this issue remains unresolved in the legislation. The article analyzes the general provisions and norms of the Civil Code of Russia related to hereditary relations. It is noted that the lack of special regulation of the inheritance of intellectual property rights creates problems. An important aspect is the specificity of inheritance of copyrights and their inseparability due to the connection of personal and property rights of the author.
