The inheritance of seeds weight per a plant in interline soybean hybrids

Бесплатный доступ

As our researches showed in the interspecific hybrids of soybean of the first generation weight of seeds per a plant in two combinations (Oksana/wild soybean ussuriensis No 68, Ogata/wild soybean ussuriensis No 68) was inherited by the type of overdominance, in the other two combinations (Oga- ta/wild soybean ussuriensis No 69, Angelica/wild soybean ussuriensis No 69) - by the type of intermediate inheritance. In the second generation of soybean hybrids the average weight of seeds per a plant was practically at the same level like in more productive parental form, but limits of the variation of this trait in hybrids were always higher than in parental forms. The distribution of phenotypes for weight of seeds per a plant shows the obvious dominance of the smaller weight in hybrids of the second generation developed by crossing soybean varieties with samples of wild soybean ussuriensis.
