Inheritance contract in Russia: advantages and disadvantages

This article discusses the basis of inheritance introduced for the first time in the Russian legal system - the inheritance contract. Problematic issues that need to be taken into account by the legislator are analyzed. A common position is formed on the advantages and disadvantages of the inheritance agreement. It is concluded that, despite a number of shortcomings, the emergence of an inheritance agreement is justified and is a progressive step in the development of inheritance relations.
