This article attempts to substantiate the key role of mentoring in the enterprise management system. The principles of mentoring that are of practical importance for the system of development of social capital of the organization are considered. The content of mentoring stages is revealed. The idea that mentoring in the organization can be considered as a means of development of participative management is substantiated.
