Mentioning in vocational education: the essence and background of modification of the process

The article traces the development of the mentoring system as part of a change in technological patterns in Russia. At each stage, the main functions and connection with the vocational education system are highlighted. The analyzed genesis of the mentoring system allows at the scientifi c level not only to implement these practices in modern conditions, but also to create prognostic models for the development of the mentoring system in the future. This gives us the opportunity to use the necessary pedagogical tools to fi nd effective ways to transfer cultural and professional experience to the younger generation.
