Adjusted (universal) gnomonic grid

Advantages and shortcomings of the flat stereographic, gnomonic and Lambert projections in crystallography are discussed. It is offered to use adjusted gnomonic grid for studying morphology of crystals of minerals with parabolic goniometer. Advantages of two versions adjusted gnomonic grids are shown on an example of diamonds of the Ural type.
