The formation of the School of Microbial Ecology of Extreme Ecosystems under the direction of the Honored Worker of Science of the Russian Federation, Honored Worker of Higher Education, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor Namsaraev Bair Badmabazarovich is shown at the Buiyat Scientific Center of the SB RAS and the Buiyat State University. The main scientific results on the study of extreme microbial communities are presented.
