Scientific and methodological principles for tourism development to ensure the stability of the regional economy of Kuzbass

The purpose of this article is to develop new scientific and methodological principles for tourism development to improve the regional economy in Kuzbass. Research methodology: generalization, analysis and synthesis, comparison and contrast, logical interpretation, and justification. Based on the analysis, significant limitations of the Kuzbass economy have been identified in the context of current sanctions pressure and market fluctuations, representing a problematic situation. To address this, the author has developed new scientific and methodological principles for tourism development within the framework of improving the regional economic model in Kuzbass, which is an important research objective. To address this problematic situation, the author has formulated and substantiated new scientific and methodological principles for tourism development to ensure the stability of the regional economy in Kuzbass under sanctions pressure, with the goal of increasing national economic security. The author's proposed new approach, based on five new principles, not only reflects the acquisition of new applied knowledge for interdisciplinary use but also brings together the concepts of «regional economy» and «tourism». The practical application of these research results lies in expanding services and tourism for the development of the regional economy. The obtained results can be used to increase domestic and foreign tourism when forming a development strategy with the aim of increasing the economic and technological security of the constituent entity of the Russian Federation.
