Scientific and methodological support of pedagogical staff in the field of ethnocultural education with the leading role of specialists from the Institute of educational development

The research problem and the rationale for its relevance. The relevance of the research is determined by the overarching goal facing Russian society — the formation of a national sovereign education system and a unified system of upbringing. This defines the increasing role of ethnocultural education in the modern educational system as one of the leading means of shaping a worldview, nurturing values, and providing socio-pedagogical support for the formation and development of a citizen of Russia. It necessitates enhancing the effectiveness of pedagogical teams in ethnocultural education, improving the psychologicalpedagogical, cultural, historical, linguistic, and literary knowledge of teachers in general education schools, as well as providing scientific and methodological support from scientific specialists of the Institute for Education Development. This support aims to improve the professional competencies of various categories of pedagogical workers in the field of ethnocultural education. The goal of the research are to: identify the main achievements and problems in the implementation of ethnocultural education in general education schools based on the study of effective sociocultural practices (using the example of the Chelyabinsk region); develop a set of measures for scientific and methodological support that contributes to improving the professional competencies of teachers in the field of ethnocultural education; develop tools to identify the degree of involvement of participants in the educational process in the process of ethnocultural education, the readiness of teachers to apply pedagogical and subject knowledge in the implementation of ethnocultural education, and the formation of requests from a multi-ethnic and multicultural educational environment. The methodology (materials and methods). The research was carried out based on systemic, competency-based, and personality-oriented approaches to designing the content and implementation of ethnocultural education. The research is conducted using methods of analysis and synthesis of information of a normative nature, empirical and statistical data obtained as a result of studying the practice of implementing ethnocultural education and conducting questionnaires of participants in the educational process (pedagogical workers, students, parents) to study the readiness of participants in the educational process to master the ethnocultural content of education. The research results are related to the implementation of an applied scientific study, in the process of which the development, theoretical justification, and testing of a system for implementing ethnocultural education and the use of effective pedagogical tools in the process of sociocultural practices are carried out. The research results have practical significance and can be used in the design and implementation of ethnocultural education in general education schools, within the framework of course training in the context of the Institute for Education Development, as well as in the planning and implementation of other forms of advanced training for pedagogical workers, including non-formal and informal. The scientific novelty lies in determining the foundations for developing a system for preparing teachers to implement ethnocultural education in general education schools based on a study of teachers’ readiness to apply pedagogical and subject knowledge in the implementation of ethnocultural education and identifying the needs of a multiethnic and multicultural educational environment. The theoretical significance consists in the development of ideas about the system of ethnocultural education. The practical significance lies in generalizing the results of studying the practice of implementing ethnocultural education in the Chelyabinsk region, in developing new approaches to the selection of content and forms of ethnocultural education based on a study of the readiness of all participants in the educational process (pedagogical workers, students, and their parents) to master the ethnocultural content of education, as well as in the design and implementation of new approaches to the organization of advanced training of pedagogical workers in the context of the Institute for Education Development.
