This scientific article analyzes the theoretical and practical foundations of the phenomenon of “social capital”. Social capital makes a significant contribution to development by strengthening social relationships, value systems and trust factors in society. Along with the general theoretical aspects of social capital, its aspects and principles characteristic of Uzbek society have been studied.
