Technical progress in the context of "divine pedagogy"

The present article is devoted to the question of a theological interpretation of the nature of scientific and technical progress in human society. Based on the model of the individual, the effect of empirical “aging of society” is demonstrated. Te interaction of processes of external development with spiritual processes taking place in the individual and in society is also considered. In the context of these topics, the author touches on the relationship of miracles to scientific knowledge, as well as the relationship of personal scientific experience (including empirical experiments) with the experience of the revelation revealed to man by Christ. Secular interpretations of scientific and technical progress as spiritual and physical progress or regress are also considered
