Scientific and technological development of territories as the base of innovative strategy of Russian economy

In this paper the basic mechanisms of scientific and technological development of territories are considered, and their key role in transition of Russian economy to the innovative development way is shown. The common tasks and functions of the regional innovative model construction are identified and the main elements and features of innovative potential of regions are described. In this way, the place and role of scientific and technological development of Krasnoyarsk region, in realization of strategy of economic development of Siberian regions, are considered, with a glance to the long-term model of development of Russian economy.
