Scientific-theoretical framework of the legal status of a prosecutor in the criminal process of the Russian Federation

This article concerns historical-theoretical and legal preconditions of formation and development of the legal status of a Prosecutor in the national criminal process and there is put forward an assumption about the inadmissibility to simultaneous performance of its functions of criminal prosecution and supervision.
