Scientific advances and artificial intelligence in the world of musical art

The article deals with the connections between science and musical art, which are deeply rooted in the past and stemming from Antiquity and the Middle Ages. The author focuses on new communication formats that appeared at the turn of the 20th and 21st centuries, serving as encouragement to search for the forms of interaction between science, scientific and technological advances that influence the emergence and development of modern arts, sociocultural practices of digital civilization. In the article, the following examples of scientific art that became the forerunners of modern installations, new types of arts based, among other things, on artificial intelligence technologies are considered: “Electronic Poem” by E. Varez, “Singing of Birds” by E. Denisov and others; ScienceArtFest festivals that opened the “Heavenly (Cloudy) Harp” by Nicholas Reeves, the festival of transcendental pianos.
