The article presents a short outline of the main scientific approaches to human resilience (vital capacity) researches in foreign psychology: cognitive-behavioral, constructive and ecological. The author reveals the perspectives of the cross-cultural approach to the cognition of resilience, which lets a man remain on feet in the face of adversity.
