Scientific approaches to the classification of economic risks in the food industry

The article examines the different approaches to the classification of economic risks. It presents a comparative analysis of approaches, identifies advantages and limitations of each classification in the aspect of its application at the enterprises of food industry. The article contains author's classification of economic risks, considering the specifics offood business and the current situation of instability in global and local economics. A detailed analysis of macroeconomic risks and their special importance for Russian food industry in the current economic and political conditions is also presented.
