Scientific concept and its antipodes in the conditions of the contemporary society

The article discusses an issue of scientific cognition and its alternatives, such as religion and mysticism. The author emphasizes that the contemporary science in the process of developing the science-based worldview and comparing it with a religious one, affirms intellect indisputability, rational methods and means of cognition. However, a question of correlation between faith and intelligence is still relevant, and a dialogue between science and religion is going on.
