В работе проводится анализ траектории развития научного периодического издания «Вестник медицинского института «РЕАВИЗ»: Реабилитация, Врач и Здоровье» рассматриваются ключевые вызовы и проблемные аспекты, с которыми сталкивается редакционная коллегия журнала в процессе текущей работы. В целом внимание уделяется систематической коррекции основных векторов совершенствования редакционной политики в соответствии с лучшими международными практиками издания научных журналов, вопросам повышения качества публикуемых материалов, углублению процессов рецензирования и строгому отбору статей для публикации, привлечению авторов из различных регионов России и зарубежных стран, анализу перспективы развития практики публикации сопутствующих цифровых данных и ресурсов наряду с текстовыми материалами, повышению цитируемости и индексации журнала в авторитетных наукометрических базах данных, а также продвижению политики открытого доступа. По итогам анализа формулируются конкретные планы дальнейшего поступательного развития журнала «Вестник медицинского института «РЕАВИЗ».
