Approaching the 30th anniversary: Volgograd State University accreditation results

The paper is devoted to the analyses of the VolSU accreditation results and the principal directions of The Universitys development during the five-year period (2004-2008). The structural changes of the University and its branches are analyzed; the certification audit results are presented. The study deals with the principal directions of the VolSU scientific schools research activity; it focuses on the significant events in the students research and international activity. The paper includes statistic parameters in the Universitys principal directions.
