"Back to metaphysics": materiality and the new ontological turn in anthropology

The article examines the features of the return of ontological issues to the space of social sciences and humanities, including anthropology, using the case of G. Harman's reception of the elements of M. Delanda's assemblage theory and B. Latour's actor-network theory. The author believes that the concept of materiality is crucial for the ontological turn of anthropology and ethnography to philosophy.
