NBICS convergence: analysis from the point of view of education system development

In modern conditions, there is an acceleration of scientific and technological devel-opment. At the same time, this acceleration occurs not only in terms of increasing the pace of de-velopment in individual scientific and technological areas, but also in terms of the integration of these areas. In particular, NBICS convergence is a significant phenomenon today. Its successful implementation requires closer integration of production, science and education. At the same time, if within the framework of NBICS convergence science and production are integrated quite successfully, then in terms of the educational component there is some lag. The article considers its nature and suggests directions for the integrated development of education with production and science, considering the effects of NBICS convergence.
