The paper considers functions of figure-like graphic symbols applied in written language, their position in a language system, and explores inventor’s punctuation of a modern poet shaping the style with the keyboard signs. The study specifies a structure of “peripherals” of Russian language punctuation system that has actually undergone alterations due to everyday’ Internet communication.
