Unaids committee - projects and attempt to implement them

The article highlights the activities of an unofficial collegial body under Emperor Alexander I - the Secret Committee. Based on the analysis of the projects of administrative and estate reforms of the emperor and his "young friends", it is shown that the reason for the curtailment of the liberal policy of the beginning of the reign of Alexander I lay in the inability of the authorities to resist the conservative noble groups that influenced the policy and power decisions of the monarch.
