Unknown autographs of two articles of N.V. Gogol about church and clergy. To the history of publication of "Selected passages from correspondence with friends"

In work Gogol's two articles about Church and clergy are published in author's edition. It allows to present for the first time the text of its book «the Chosen places from correspondence with friends» (1847) in full without extraneous distortions. On the basis of archival sources Gogol's guess is documentary confirmed, that in extensive acceptable reductions of its book opposition of the authorities to the artist, and opposite, an intrigue of liberal, western party has affected not.
