Modern aspects of the problem of adult education are considered. An analysis of the development of andragogy in foreign and domestic psychological and pedagogical sciences is presented. The identification of neuroandragogy as a scientific field of adult education is substantiated. The specifics of organizing the educational process for adults are revealed, based on modern knowledge about the neurobiology of the brain. The principles and factors for the success of adult learning are outlined.
