The neurotoxins representing the compounds, blocking carrying out a nervous impulse, are one of the major directions in development the long-action anesthetic drugs. In the present work the screening of tissue extracts of several nemertean species, living in coastal zones of the Japan Sea is carried out: Cephalothrix simula, Lineus alborostratus, Quasitetrastemma stimpsoni and Quasitetrastemma nigrifrons, on existence of neurotoxic and anesthetic action. Extracts from C. simula and L. alborostratus contain high amount of the toxin suppressing carrying out an impulse in sciatic nerve of a frog of Rana chensinensis and are perspective objects for studying as a source of neurotoxins - perspective anesthetics.
