Neurological and neuropsychological symptoms of dyscirculatory encephalopathy (DE) hypertensive and atherosclerotic genesis were studied. Investigations were performed on 114 patients suffering from DE caused by hypertension and cerebral arteriosclerosis. For cognitive functions evaluation Luria’s neuropsychological procedure with quantitative rating developed by Roschina and Jarikov was applied. The results show the presence of qualitative differences and distinctive topical localizations of cognitive impairment depending on DE aetiology.
