Some urgent questions of expert activity

The author examines the current problems of the appointment and production of forensic examination, the choice of an expert and an expert institution, argues proposals for changes and additions to existing legislation. Taking into account the analysis of practice, the author believes that a comprehensive solution of topical problems in the field of forensic examination will increase its effectiveness and relevance in criminal proceedings, based on current challenges.
