Some aspects of analyzing radical Islamic outreach activities of extremist groups

The article reviews the results of the analysis of the radical Islamic outreach activities carried out by extremist groups. The research of extremist information sources confirms the urge to overturn the flawed social and political system in Russia and establish a so-called caliphate instead. To build an extremely aggressive religious identity, Islamists use such tactics as promising social justice, simplification of Sharia and Islamic laws, rising intra-religious disputes, spreading ethnic and religious stereotypes, reaffirmation of faith by force. This type of radicalization causes dangerous social conflicts between religious Muslims, on the one hand, and the rest of society and state, on the other hand, that is a direct threat to national security of Russia.
