Some aspects of ensuring personal safety of close relatives of internal affairs officers of the Russian Federation: theoretical and legal aspect

The article is devoted to the study of theoretical and legal aspects of ensuring personal security of close relatives of employees of internal affairs bodies of the Russian Federation. The key protection measures are considered, including legal, organizational and psychological mechanisms aimed at preventing threats from criminal elements. Particular attention is paid to legal guarantees regulating social and economic support for the families of employees, as well as preventing the leakage of confidential information related to their professional activities. The paper analyzes the causes and consequences of threats used against family members of police officers, offers recommendations to improve the effectiveness of their protection. We also analyzed the federal legislation that enshrines in itself the guarantees of personal security of both employees of the internal affairs bodies of the Russian Federation and their family members. The study emphasizes the importance of a comprehensive approach in ensuring security, taking into account the specifics of the official duties of the employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.
