Some aspects of controlling industrial hemp cultivation activities

The article analyzes the legal norms governing relations in the field of control over the cultivation of industrial hemp. The authors conclude that the norms need to be improved. The revision of legal acts and methods in this area can resolve the difficulties of distinguishing agricultural varieties from marijuana banned in Russia by the officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, and will also legally protect producers from unreasonable prosecution when an industrial crop may fall under the category of plants containing narcotic drugs.
