Some aspects of academic science development in DASSR in 1946-1955

The article provided a brief overview of the tasks of Dagestan base of the USSR Academy of Sciences and the Universities of the Republic at the end of 40s - the first half of the 50s of the XX century the necessity of creating an academic research center in Dagestan in the post-war period. It is shown that its establishment and operation was the basis for the formation and increase of the number of scientific institutions and the rising level of scientific research. The role of scientists and educators from major research and educational centers of the country in the early stage of formation and development of academic institutions. Characterized the successes of scientists from different institutes and departments of Dagestan Academy of Sciences of the USSR and the value held in DASSR research for socio-economic and cultural development of the region.
