Some aspects of rural development

The article presents a comparative analysis of some of the results of the implementation of the policy of the Government of the Russian Federation aimed at the sustainable development of rural areas, using the example of the Novosibirsk and Voronezh regions and the Krasnodar Territory from the point of view of the activities of the agro-industrial complex (AIC) within the framework of the development of territories. The Krasnodar Territory and the Voronezh Region represent the top ten regions of the agricultural sector of Russia, and the Novosibirsk Region belongs to the officially recognized disadvantaged South Siberian macro-region. The main objective of the research was to study and compare regional management approaches in the field of activity under consideration, identify existing problems and develop appropriate measures to solve them. At the same time, the physical and geographical location of the region, the population, acreage and gross harvest of agricultural crops, the size of state support for agriculture during 2019-2020 were taken into account. The necessity of creating a coordination center for strategic development of territories (at the level of the subject of the Russian Federation) is justified, in order to study rural areas in detail with the development of scientifically sound recommendations for subsequent management decisions as part of the implementation of government tasks.
