The certain aspects of services involvement and the Russian empire Ministry of Internal Affairs units in the protection of orthodox culture monuments

The Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs involvement in the implementation of security measures in relation to the history and culture monuments, the Orthodox, in particular, has been ever characterized for the pre-revolutionary period of our history. The Ministry has not only performed the information collection about existing monuments of Church antiquity in the provinces, this one, working closely with Synod and the diocesan authority, has supervised their safety, but it has directly involved in the development of all-Russian legislation on the monuments protection.
