The article is devoted to the problem of mass culture influence on the consumer. Mass culture, one of the most productive fields of economy, has got such names as «the industry of leisure», «commercial culture». It has quite a number of ways to affect the consciousness of the audience, it forms a specific «game-playing» outlook, distorts the world view of the young audience by means of violence and fear stereotypes.
