Some data on the stratigraphy and planigraphy of the trans-Tvertsa suburb in the 15th - 17 h cc. (according to the data of excavations in Tver)

Archaeological investigations of the Institute of Archaeology, RAS, in Tverare of salvage character. The works are focused on the Zatveretsky suburb where theearliest urban settlement was located. The obtained material gives grounds to suggest areconstruction of the spatial structure of the territory in the 15 th - 17 th cc. The preliminaryresults show that in that period the suburb had already got established spatial structurewith marked central area. The suburb consisted of town-plots which comprised residential,household, and production zones. Location of separate plots follows both general spatialstructure and features of local relief.
